Bictegravir 50mg + Emtricitabine 200mg + Tenofovir Alafenamide 25mg is a fixed-dose combination used in the treatment of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. This combination contains bictegravir, an integrase strand transfer inhibitor that blocks HIV replication; emtricitabine, and tenofovir alafenamide, both nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors that prevent viral DNA synthesis. Together, they reduce the amount of HIV in the body, improving immune function and preventing progression to AIDS. It is also used for post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) to prevent HIV infection after potential exposure.
